Bad evening
Internet is still broken, browser takes me to the Comcast setup page. Comcast now says, oops, we can't do anything with our DaTa WaReHoUsE; we need to use a different cable modem.
Hey, WTF, Comcast (I have no account with) just took over my IE browser. I shut down last night on my portable using hibernate...when I turned it back on and restarted IE up popped Comcast on both pages with a sign on....WTF!!!! I can't find any virus reports of the kind and am currently running Spybot - Search & Destroy to see if it's a bot of some sort.
Hi, everybody. I started this blog on July 19th after Comcast turned our internet off for no reason and with no notice. I'll post anytime my roommate GB or I talk with Comcast; I'll also be adding backdated entries to fill in the rest of the story (this has been going on since early June). Because I want people to read this, I will try not to swear too much; instead, I will pepper my postings with sTIcKy CaPs, 1337 5p34k, and lolcats to express my frustration in a family-friendly way. Enjoy.
